There are certain effects that mold can have on your health. The most common effect that it can have is an allergic response that is caused by breathing in the mold spores. These allergic reactions have a whole range of effects that you should be aware of. These effects include hay fever and asthma as well as irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. These reactions will vary depending on the individual sensitivity of the person who is breathing them in, but either way mold is a danger to everyone who comes into contact with it. There are some people who are more at risk of health problems than others when it comes to being exposed to mold. Anyone who currently has any type of respiratory problem such as allergies, asthma, or emphysema is at a larger risk as well as those who have a weak immune system, have been organ transplant patients or are chemotherapy patients. Mold is a real hazard to anyone but if you or your family falls into any of these categories you should take steps to remove mold from your bathroom or anywhere else you may find it in your home immediately.
